Well, what can I say I had to have my fun with a car too.
You take a Ford Taurus SHO - great sleeper to begin with and let it sit for 2 years at FPS Automotive having them perform every mod they could think of and get from SHO shop and a lot of time and money later they come up with a car which slightly outruns Corvette, out handles BMW, and out breaks Porsche. Mine is pulling about 400hp on the wheels witch should put him in the 500 on the spec territory. Let's just put it there is not a lot of cars on the road who can put my "Green Shadow" to shame. And how does it feel to have your Porsche or Ferrari to be beaten by Ford Taurus - the ultimate family sedan ;) F100 racing transmission - killer still best auto I'v ever had, and bigger wheels.

Next you take Mercedes Benz already excellent E55 and have some fun with it thanks to Chris and Jay at AutoAddictions.com

Once you done with performance you install best car audio system I have personally heard - custom CarPC as a transport using Lynx 2B for digital output with only pair in US of Carozeria ODR RS-P90 and A90x controller - and since best in the world/cost no object processor was not enough they were custom modified by head of Pioneer technical services in Russia - external dual power supply, Superclock 4, hand selected premium single-ended optamps, Alps stepped attenuators in place of digital volume controls, better caps, etc... feeding HSS Fidelity V-Three tube line driver (that's right - tubes in the race car) for tweeters and midrange and Tru technology custom build line driver for bass. You use TIPS modified Linear Power LP100 as an amp for tweeters in to Dynaudio Esotar 2, pair of Sinfoni Class A 60.1 monoblocks for midrange in to custom built by Pier Skanning himself Audiotechnology midranges, and custom built Tru Technology Billet for bass feeding 3 pairs of VMPS 6.5" superwoofers - fully rebuild doors with Focal Blackhole dampening and aperiodic enclosures (in the car). All cabling except power is Stelth Technology top of the line with first 4 pairs of Sacra ever shipped - imagine that - they were shipped for a car install. We also have Sun Auto Hyper-Ground+Hyper-Voltage GT+ECO noise reduction system all done as a package and 2 Kinetiks 2400 Bat-Caps.
After that you throw in Designeo 2 tone gray and black perforated leather and add Escort 8500ci laser/radar detector/jammer which makes car practically invisible to all latest speed measurment devices and has a GPS database of all speed traps and red light photo cameras known in Northern America, all the typical toys such as voice recognition, phone internet, email and navigation integration, real time engine management and monitoring, 128 Gb of music and movies on solid state drives and your all set to have some fun for a daily driver

Then you like results so much and you want to keep pushing car even further - meaning more time in the shop what you realize what you need a daily driver and get yourself another W210

as soon as they wear out
KW Stage 2
W211 Projector headlight with HID HI/LO & fog
Trunk Lip spoiler
AMG factory pedals
Blinder M25 X-Treme Laser Jammer and integrated Valentine 1 Detector
I stayed with over the counter Audio System parts - nothing really custom - it just happens to be a best set of components available in the world(except subs) - Carozeria ODR Transport and processor, Tru Technolgy first in the world SuperBillet 8 Stage 4, Rainbow Reference 3 way system (12K retail and probably best factory matched set of speakers) and 2 Alliante 12" flat subwoofers in the back shelf(Dynaudio would have been better as a subs but I did not wanted to sacrifice any trunk space).

Take Infinity Qx56 - huge 4x4 family truck which seats 8 people and tows 9000 lbs and you go really crazy - Vortech supercharger, custom fuel management system, JWT largest injectors + S1 FI camshafts + high rev valve kit (can take engine to 9000 RPM), Icon sport coilover custom suspension package with Stillen Sway bars, AP Racing Big Break kit - truck now outbreaks Corvette ZR-1, Stillen transmission upgrade, Stillen full exhaust with high flow cats, ceramic coated long tube headers and free flow dual catback, do custom intake job, rebuild engine top,, ECO-5 fuel catalysis system, build custom MAF housing since stock MAF pegs out at about 600 HP, coldest iridium plugs you could find and bunch of other little things, and add 4 additional intercoolers.
Then you go in and do a 2 tone full custom Alacantra suede upholstery including headliner, sunroof etc.. custom 74 piece Zebrawood wood kit (no more plastic parts in the car), billet grills and chrome moldings, 2 tone 22" Zinic wheels wearing 325/45/R22 Yokohama Parada X, rear spoiler and you also have an ultimate luxury SUV capable of doing 0-60 in 5 sec territory 1/4 in low 12s and out-handling most of the stock sport sedans.
Audio system - Viluv x70 integrated CarPC in to Alpine F1 Status H900 processor in to custom build Tru Technology line Drivers in to the 7 channels of custom build cost no object Tru Tech Billets (according to John they are best amps he was ever commissioned to build) driving 4 way Dynaudio Esotar 2 system. System did not came out as good as my E55 system but it's still very nice system and it has all integrated capabilities of the E55s system and same radar detector. Only problem is a car way too loud so as soon as you open windows you might as well listen to the stock radio system :(

And next you move on to a dream car. You start with S65 - one of
the most luxurious sedans in the world which also happens to be a fastest sedan
in the world with 0-60 coming in the 4.0 and top speeds approaching 200mph and
push it just a little bit more. I mean who is happy about 604 hp from 6.5
liter V12 bi-turbo- so VRP Scorpio 825 package goes on with a custom tune to
bring it closer to 850+ hp. Then add
Aquamist Stage 6 water/meth injection system with 2 or 4 jets to be able to push
it even further for a short periods of time
But what truly staggering is what car is capable of
the over 1200 lbs/ft of torque which translates in to well over 1500 n/m - just
a crazy numbers. You need to lay it all to the ground so you send a rear
differential to Kleeman for them to strengthen it and rework already excellent
AMG LSD to give you much faster lockup and improve lockup numbers from 35% to
60%.
Now please remember what it's still a 5500lbs luxury sedan so it's ability to run 1/4 in 10s is amazing. You can't do anything with a breaks - car already comes with what's probably one of the best breaking systems on the planet.
Suspension are upgraded to Renetech's latest v3 and that's unfortunately all you could do to a car at this point. Which is understandable - with sticker price of $204K and production numbers of around 400 for a whole world as well as being a car AMG spend most amount of the time and attention since MB-McLarren SLR, there is not many people who would not be happy with a stock performance or a features of the car so not many manufacturers want to develop any products for it.
But it has to be more - quest for perfection can't stop and once we done with first stage of tuning and car is stable we will have to come up with couple more tricks.
I have to wait a little bit until VRP finishes adoption of even bigger turbo sourced from Porsche 996GT which should bring monster up another 150Hp or so. Then help of the water/meth injection should let us squeeze out another 100 probably :)))))))))). And electronic exhaust cutouts which should bring us another 20-30 or so. And at that point more transmission work probably will be required. But as a schedule looks right now it's a good 6-7 month away.
Well car like this needs a very special system and some of my friends were very interested in helping me. I can't disclose details of the system especially with it being in the early design stages but it will be like no over car system in the world. We have been working on it for 2 weeks to the date (since October 5th 2009) and so far we looking at filing 3 patents just on results of our initial work. My plan for this system is simple - I want it to be not just a best car system in the world, but to be able to take on any home system in $150K range.
Everything for this system except raw speakers is being designed from scratch. Tru Technology is finalizing a production of their new reference Copper series amps and each of the channels of amplification will be build to be used with a right drivers and matched to the appropriate output section of the DAC. This car will be a first application of the Copper amps in the world.
Stealth Audio designing custom set of their wires to be used in the automotive application and impedance matching them to the system. System will have 8 separate digital channels of the sound with High End Home Audio based reference class custom build 8 channel outboard DAC (In project like this you can't go with a car processors even as good as fully modified Pioneer ODR)
CarPC will have 2 modes - typical multimedia mode with all bells and whistles (GPS, phone, cameras, etc...) and specialized Audiophile mode where all but audio functionality will be disabled and all extra devices will be disconnected. CarPC will also have 3 separate custom power supplies and custom build sound card with special drivers and copper +NuMetal chassies for RF shielding. Audio processing we working on require so much CPU power for upsampling/ full digital x-over and room correction what I had to use a Intel Quad core Qx9300 Extreme Edition - CPU previously not even considered for a car - typical CarPC like Viluv x70 caries about 8-15 times less of the processing power.
But real magic still will be happening in the software. This car will rely on the technologies developed by Zodiac Interactive for a last 2 years and take them to the next level. I guess you could use PowerUP framework not only for programming of the Set-top boxes and Interactive TV
We planning to have some fun with a coolness features especially with all the integration abilities AutoEnginuity provide us. It is truly amazing software/hardware allows for a full control of all the 150+ sensors in the car and every aspect of the car which can be controlled electronically.
